Lockdown Recipes #88: Hummus

Ingredients

200 g Chickepeas (Soaked and Pressure Cooked)

2-3 TBSP thick Yogurt (we can use Tahini also which is a sesame seed paste)

3-4 Cloves Chopped Garlic

1 Tsp Cumin Powder

2-3 tbsp Lemon Juice

4-5 Tbsp Olive oil

Chopped Coriander/Parsley

Chilli Flakes

Method: In a grinder add chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice and yogurt. Grind it well.

Add salt, cumin powder and 2 tbsp of olive oil. Grind it again and if the mixture is coarse, add some water and grind it well to a fine paste. Add remaining olive oil, and garnish with coriander leaves and chilli flakes. Hummus is ready!

Serve it with Falafel or any other kebabs and fries of your choice.
